          John Barnes Myofascial Release is a Technique to release adhesions(knots). MFR is a safe gentle release, and           highly effective  way to relieve chronic pain. A hands on technique to apply sustained pressure in areas to                     release   fascial adhesions.  It is applied to targeted areas releasing restrictions creating flexibility in the body to            restore you to   a  more pain free living. MFR can release Emotional, and Mental trauma. The Fascia in your                  body  holds this Trauma   to later cause you pain. We are trained to accept and assist you to release these                    emotions  if  they arise. Although you   are in complete control and in a safe environment. Men wear shorts and             Women wear two piece bathing suit or bra   and panties or tank and shorts. This is a skin to skin contact at all                times.

 

Medical Manual Therapy

Manual Therapy (MT), also known as manipulative therapy, is a hands-on treatment using skilled movements to treat musculoskeletal pain and disability. Massage therapists perform Manual Therapy to increase range of motion, reduce pain, and improve flexibility. MT can address acute conditions like post-injury pain or chronic conditions like arthritis. It can also be used to assist your physical therapist to reach maintenance levels at a faster, less painful, rate. Prescription Required.(applies to 1 hour)

Sports,Golf, Deep Tissue Massage

$100.00/60 min

This type of massage is performed with quick strokes on a stretch, along with stretching of target muscles. Aides in greater flexibility to increase performance, making it ideal for athletes and golfers. Typically a full body massage is performed.

Therapeutic Swedish

Therapeutic Swedish is a full body massage using oils/lotions/cremes. The therapist will use a variety of modalities during the session. Examples will be, long/short strokes, Trigger point, Stretching or cross fiber friction. This is not a deep tissue massage. This is a more Relaxation Massage to ease minor tension through out the body

With years of experience, Owner, Angela Hamm, is trained and skilled in Barnes Myofascial Release, Cranio Somatic Release, Trigger Point,  Lymphatic Drainage, Pregnancy Massage, Fibromyalgia Massage, and Medical Manual Therapy. She frequently works with clients who have experienced joint replacements or joint damage, soft tissue damage, frozen shoulder, traumatic brain injury, chronic pain, Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, emotional/mental trauma, auto accidents, whiplash, or on-the-job injuries. Angela also offers ultra-sound treatments for muscle tissue repair.
